The company, founded and started-up by Meridies Holding in 2000, reached a turnover of more than 96 million euros in 2006 with about 70 employees. On May 2006 Energ.it founders and owners, including Meridies and the venture capital fund Jupiter Venture, sold the majority of the company to two big Italian and European operators in the energy sector, Atel AG e Azienda Energetica Spa. |
